First and foremost, I love my job and the people I am fortunate enough to work for and with.

In 1985 Martin Cummings asked me if I would be interested in being the Executive Officer of the Wilson County Assn. of REALTORS®.   Having a little bit of knowledge about the industry, I told him I would consider it - but only part time and for no more than four or five years..    At that time there were less than 100 members and no association structure of any kind, it was all volunteer leadership.  

In September 2002, NAR granted Wilson County Association REALTORS® and new name, to better represent our diverse membership....at that time we became Eastern Middle Tennessee Association REALTORS®.

Today, we have over 1100 REALTOR® members and 100 Affiliate Members, office with three employees, great REALTOR® leadership, many education opportunities, good community involvement, and committee involvement.   This Association still leans very heavily on volunteer members.
