Awards Forms

The Awards of Excellence, is a volunteer service provided to its members by Eastern Middle TN. Assn. of REALTORS® for the purpose of honoring the members of its Association who achieve certain and specific standards of qualification. It is not a contest with winners and losers but rather an opportunity for recognition for those whose qualified Real Estate Sales/Leases place them in the top percentage of qualified REALTORS®. Eastern Middle TN. Association of REALTORS® reserves the right to exercise its discretion in determining whether a nominee qualifies. The decision of the Awards of Excellence Committee is final, however the ultimate responsibility of verifying applications lies with the managing broker.

Nomination For REALTOR® of the Year:
To give recognition to one of our fellow REALTORS® for his or her outstanding achievements in the year of 2014.  ROTY is selected by a point system** based on local, State,National involvement and education.  Final decisions are made by the committee.  Any committee member whose name is submitted as a nominee, will remove themselves from the committee immediately. *Setting President, President Elect and past 5  ROTY are not eligible for this award.

Fair Housing

Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents of legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability).


If you have been trying to buy or rent a home or apartment and you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a fair housing complaint.

To file a complaint, use one of the options below.

  • You can file a complaint right now, by using our online form.
    You can call toll-free 1 (800) 669-9777
    You can print out a form, complete it, and drop it or mail it to:

You can write a letter with:

  • Your name and address
  • The name and address of the person your compliant is about
  • The address of the property you were trying to buy

Wilson County Register of Deeds

With your EMTAR Membership, REALTOR® Members have FREE Access to the Wilson County register of Deeds. With this access you can view and/or download all documents recorded in the Wilson County Court House.

In order to access this FREE service, you must be a full REALTOR® member of EMTAR. Affiliate Members are not eligible for this offer.

  • Go to www.WilsonDeeds.com and click Apply to Search Deeds.
  • Complete the form with EMTAR and your firm name in the company field.
  • You will create a username and password and agree to the terms. If you do not put EMTAR in the company field, you will only have a temporary account until you pay for the subscription.
  • Submit the form and once approved you will have full access to the information.
  • Special Note - if you do not receive any confirmation from the Register's Office, simply try logging into the system using the user name & password you setup when completing your registration.
  • Information is easily read in a .pdf format. The .tiff format is still available but is not as easy to send via email to clients or print.
