In 2019, EMTAR has provided Pre-license education to people who may be interested in a real estate career. These classes are a series of 4 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consisting of 8 hours of classroom education. 60 hours of pre-license education is provided from 10:00 a.m.– 6:00 pm on both Saturdays and Sundays. 

The 60-hour classes guides you in the preparation of passing the state exam.  

Some recommend the following (in order):  

  1. Take the the 60-hour course first,
  2. Take the state exam (and pass),
  3. Then take the 30-hour course,
  4. Apply for your license.
