Interestingly enough, there are no state mandated forms required by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. However, the real industry in Tennessee does have standard forms that are used by the majority of real estate practitioners. The Tennessee REALTORS® association has provided standard forms to its membership since the late 90’s. These forms are copyrighted for the use by Realtor® membership and in order to use them, a Realtor® member must be involved in the transaction. Any other type of use would be considered a copyright violation and could carry some serious consequences.
